Zona en Marcha

Ciénaga, Magdalena, a region immortalized in Gabriel García Márquez's magical realism, faces profound social and economic challenges. The banana zone struggles with inequality, displacement, and lack of opportunity.
A collective of filmmakers, activists, and creatives (director Mateo Pérez, Andrés Felipe Gil, and crew) needed a visual identity for a social movement: 'Zona en Marcha.' Not just a campaign. A symbol of resistance, hope, and community action.

Zona en Marcha' represents a community

Ciénaga isn't just a place of struggle—it's a place of magical realism, storytelling, and human resilience. The identity needed to reflect that duality: grounded in reality but infused with hope and possibility.

In a region defined by inequality and struggle, a strong visual identity says: "We exist. We matter. We're moving forward."
The visual identity lives in the award-winning documentary.
